CNA classes?! Anybody know where I can go?!

Anyone know of any good, pleasant, comfortable assisted living facilities?

I need recommendations for a facility in or near the San Fernando Valley CA, that's like an Assisted Living place. My friends (a married couple) are looking for an apartment-style place that offers meals and a little help, like bathing assistance or laundry and house cleaning. They want to live together in the unit, not be separated into 2 rooms. And they prefer upscale places. Any help is appreciated.

TIME SENSITIVE - Looking for recommendations for a nursing facility for my beloved aunt (my mom's sister). She currently lives near Grand Rapids, at her home with caregivers. They called over the weekend and said she needs more care than they can provide. So we want to move her ASAP down near us. She is a widow, and was not able to have children so we need to take over her care. Looking for recommendations for a nursing facility anywhere between Ann Arbor, Plymouth, Canton and any surrounding areas. Would love advice on places that take good care of their people, and the ones to stay away from. It breaks my heart that my aunt has gotten to this point, but it is what it is...
