Volunteer Services:
We recruit, interview and place volunteers with agencies in the Valley through our Volunteer Referral Program.
We promote Volunteerism by organizing recognition events during National Volunteer Week.
We offer training and consultation to volunteer organizations. There are also extensive and current resources available for your perusal in our library and on our website.

Community Resources:
We offer an information and referral service linking inquiries with services available to residents of the Cowichan Valley.
Our Friendly Visitor Program brings together trained volunteers with people who are lonely and/or isolated and desire more social contact.
We recently became a Community Mapping Station for the Human Early Learning Partnership, a program sponsored by UBC to assist early child development initiatives in our communities.

Assisted Shared-Ride System:
We operate handyDART in the Cowichan Valley, an alternative transportation service for persons who have a disability that is sufficiently severe that the person is unable to use conventional transit service without assistance.
