US/Canadian Accountant I am an American citizen and Canadian permanent resident. I have always filed my own taxes in both countries because it has been pretty straightforward, but my situation suddenly got a bit complicated this year. (I inherited a fair amount of cash from my American aunt.) Can anyone recommend an accountant? I'm trying to figure out whether I should be putting some of the money aside for taxes next year.

Do you, or did you, use a tax accountant to help you manage your Canadian taxes when you went abroad, while living there, or when you returned? Over the years I get regular requests for referrals to a good tax accountant who understands Canadian expatriates who are in the U.S. or further abroad. However, I can never get a solid testimony for a good one. Can you highly recommend one? Please let me know! Thanks! Paul Kurucz (who runs this FB page and the Moving Back To Canada web site)
