Company Description

Victoria Brain Injury Society?s mission is to provide support to people who have an acquired brain injury.

Our mandate is to provide counseling, education, programs and advocacy to survivors, their families and the community at large. We believe every individual is due respectful support that begins with the recognition that individuals with disabilities are not abnormal or deficient but instead reflect the normal diversity of the human community.

We provide several levels of assistance, including case management, peer support, volunteering, creative arts projects, acquired brain injury 101 courses, coping strategies programs and family support groups. We also provide workshops to social service agencies to help them understand the complex issues that arise when interacting with brain injury survivors.
