Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a dry powder. It is applied electrostatically and then is cured under heat to form a ?skin? like layer that is stronger than conventional paint. Powder coating is a three part process. First is the pretreatment or preparation to clean the product, whether it be hot water/soap then appropriate phosphate pressure washer, then dunk tank, or sanding. Second is the powder application itself. And third is the cure time in the oven for the powder to adhere to the product.

Sandblasting is the act of propelling very fine bits of sand material at high-velocity to fully clean or etch a surface. It is one of the most effective ways to strip and smooth a surface of foreign material. Sandblasting provides an even finish with no problems in corners or other tight areas of the product. It helps rejuvenate the material so it can start the process of making it look new again. The sand and compressed air remove the surface of the product leaving a clean surface.
