Established in 2011, Venture Connect and is a subsidiary of Six of the Island Coastal Community Futures offices (including the Sunshine Coast and and Powell River). This company was created in response to the challenge that over the next 20 years, there will be unparalleled shortfalls of both business owners and employees resulting in potential closure of large numbers of small businesses throughout the area.

Venture Connect has been created to support labour market changes in the Vancouver Island Coast region through:
