Karen Stewart Law Corporation is a law firm that has been serving the Parksville and Qualicum Beach communities since 1992.

We provide legal advice and services in the following areas:

We are dedicated to providing our clients with professional services in a client-friendly atmosphere. Centrally located in downtown Parksville, our office is at ground level and is wheel-chair accessible - street parking is readily available.

Karen was born in Calgary Alberta, and was educated at the University of Calgary where she received her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law degrees. She was called to the Alberta bar in 1984 and practiced law at Burnet Duckworth & Palmer and Singleton Urquhart in Calgary. In 1987 she earned a Master of Law degree from Cambridge University. In 1991 she became a member of the Law Society of British Columbia. Karen has practiced law in Parksville, British Columbia since 1991.

Karen has been active in the Parksville-Qualicum community as a former member and director of Oceanside Hospice Society. She is a member of the Parksville Chamber of Commerce has been active in the arts community as former president and director of Vancouver Island Opera. Karen enjoys hiking, skiing, canoeing and travelling. She is married to Brad Bird, author and journalist. They live in Parksville with their 2 cats.
