WHO IS WADE ROBERTS:

Born and raised in Prince George, BC, from a family of builders, Wade decided to rebel and ?become a plumber? instead just after high school. He enjoyed working with his hands and helping people, so the job seemed like a perfect fit.

After completing trade-school as a ticketed plumber in 1999, Wade had a change of heart, decided to throw in the tools, pick up a book, become a philosopher/surfer, grow his hair long, and embark on a soul-searching mission across Thailand, India, Nepal, Australia and New Zealand.

In his travels, he saw the effects of dirty water firsthand, and was inspired to see how plumbing truly could impact the world. He came back to Canada, a changed man on a mission, with a new found passion for the work of his hands, and a desire to do his part to change the world.

After moving to Victoria in 2000, falling in love and starting a family, Wade and Vangel turned their full attention to establishing their own plumbing company, Wade Roberts Plumbing Ltd. (Est.2005).

After 10 years in the industry, with most of his experience in new construction and renovation, Wade decided to focus primarily on plumbing and commercial service in 2009. And the rest is history!

Fifteen years later, Wade and Vangel have a company they is proud of, an amazing team to work with everyday and with the help of their clients, they partner with four amazing Charities to make a lasting difference for others: Extreme Outreach, reaching at risk youth in Victoria
Herowork, building new spaces for local charities in need
Children Arise, developing entrepreneurs in Uganda and the Biosand Water Filter Projects, providing clean water for families in India and Asia.

ACTIVITIES:

Love to be with my amazing wife, Vangel our 3 kids and all the friends we are blessed to call family. I love blowing people away with my homemade Chai tea, rocking out to country music in my Promaster, and investing into our community. Besides my Home and Native land, India, Belize and Thailand are my favorite places in all of the world (so far). Building relationships here and overseas and truly making a difference in a practical way is a personal passion that continues to drive me.
